In order to provide you with our true black car service, we request you book your reservations a minimum of 12 hours in advance. Under normal circumstances, reservations can be made with as little as one hour’s notice and are subject to availability. Requests for online reservations must be made at least 12 hours in advance, for reservations less than 12 hours in advance you can call 1 (773) 817 2878, 24 hours a day to make, change or cancel reservations. Black Car Transportation shall not be liable for delays or services not rendered due to circumstances beyond its control including but not limited to severe weather, road conditions, and vehicle breakdowns. All published rates are subject to change without notice. Current rates are confirmed at the time a reservation is made. Specialty vehicle requests are subject to availability at the time of booking.

Black Car Transportation also strongly suggests the use of seat belts while the vehicle is in motion in compliance with State of Illinois law.

Black Car Transportation reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions. The terms and conditions in effect at the time of booking will apply to your reservation.

Change and Cancellation Policy

We have a 2-hour cancellation policy for point-to-point transfer orders. You can cancel a reservation 2 hours before the pickup time with no charge. You must contact us by phone! Orders canceled less than 2 hours before pick-up time will be charged 50% out of the base fare due to loss of revenue and dead time for cars and chauffeurs.

If you need to postpone the pickup time for any reason within 2 hours prior to the scheduled pick-up time, we will add an authorized wait, where wait time fees apply after 15 minutes in 15-minute increments.

No Show Policy

Full rate plus 20% gratuity will be charged if the passenger fails to be at the designated pickup location. We do not guarantee vehicle availability or pricing for any reservation changes but we will work with you to provide the best solution. If you cannot locate your car, please do not leave your location without contacting us by phone at 1 (773) 817 2878

A 48-hour cancellation policy applies to all charter and specialty vehicle reservations.

Payment Policy

Trips are billed to the customer’s credit card or corporate account numbers.

Black Car Transportation accepts the following credit cards:

  • American Express
  • Visa
  • MasterCard
  • Discover Card

If payment is made by credit card, at the time of service you will need to present the credit card to the chauffeur who will take an imprint of the credit card, will enter the fare and gratuity, and will request for you to sign the credit card slip.

The usual and customary gratuity is 20% which is calculated on the base fare, extra stops, waiting time, and any holiday charges. Gratuity is based on service, if you feel that your chauffeur has performed better or worse than average it is your option to change the gratuity accordingly.

You can also pay cash. At this time we do not accept checks, gift cards, or any other form of payment not stated above.

All reservations are subject to guaranteed payment. A credit card number will be taken to secure the reservation but we will charge it only after the service is completed.

Early-late hours and holiday policy

A premium rate of $15.00 applies to the following:

Holidays: 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve, and New Year’s Day.

Waiting time policy

There is a 15-minute grace period from your scheduled pick-up time. After the grace period has elapsed, there is a charge of $10.00 for every 15 minutes.

Additional Stops Policy

For each extra stop, a fee of $10 will apply. This means that if you need to pick up somebody else that you travel with, on your way to the airport a $10 fee will be added to your rate.

Please review the following terms and agreements pertaining to your Black Car Service.

Our Black Car Service comes with full acknowledgment and agreement of the following terms and conditions:

  • The client and renter are responsible for his/her guests, and for any damage to the interior and equipment of the vehicle.
  • This includes but is not limited to: gum, wine, and alcohol spillage, vomiting, breakage of champagne, wine and drink glasses, breakage of decanters, breakage of lights, LCD screens, DVD player, radio, and CD player.
  • Repair and replacement of items shall have a minimum charge of at least ($100.00) one hundred dollars.

Vomiting fee is $200.

All passengers agree to behave in an orderly and well-behaved manner. Black Car Transportation reserves the right to expel any person from the vehicle and/or terminate this contract in the event of a violation of any of these conditions by any passenger. In the event of such early termination, no portion of the rental fees shall be refunded.

Zero Tolerance Compliance Policy

Black Car Transportation will strictly enforce State and Federal Laws and will maintain a zero tolerance compliance policy that no alcoholic beverages can be consumed or used by any person, not of legal drinking age. Also, no possession, sale, or consumption of any type of narcotics or illegal drugs is permitted.

All U.S. law enforcement agencies have absolute power to stop any motor vehicle for administrative searches. If contraband is aboard, even in negligible quantities, they can seize and forfeit this vehicle to a local government agency. All law enforcement agencies are aggressively enforcing this policy. Therefore no person will bring illegal substances aboard vehicles that are owned or operated by Black Car Transportation. Person(s) under the age of 21 is/are prohibited from consuming any type of alcoholic beverage.

No Smoking Policy

All of our cars are non-smoking. Client agrees that there will be no smoking in our vehicle(s).

Lost and Found Policy

Please make sure you take all of your personal belongings when you exit the vehicle as we assume no responsibility for missing items. Black Car Transportation, or its drivers, is not responsible for lost or stolen items but will make all possible attempts to retrieve items and return them to the lawful owners.

Pickup Time Disclaimer

Selecting a pickup time later than what is recommended could result in missing a flight or appointment.

Black Car Transportation can NOT be held responsible, and the reservation will be marked as Time Requested by Customer.

Acceptance of Terms and Conditions

Client has read the terms and conditions stated above and agrees to all stated terms and conditions. This agreement will be considered accepted in its entirety when Client checks the “I Agree” box provided in the Online Reservation – Booking Form of this Web site.

Privacy Policy

Black Car Transportation respects your privacy and your name and personal information will not be given to anyone without your consent. The information you supply is used to improve service and customize offers for you. Your name and address will only be used by Black Car Transportation or its assignees for the purpose of rendering service or to collect payments for services rendered. Your e-mail address is used for sending confirmations, information, and service enhancements.
